Refers to the Ka-Kel and Tar-Kel. Ka-Kel is guarded by Cious's daughter. She sits with one eye on Nome, and the other at the reflection on the waters of Notbud, thinking of her father, and heartbroken, for a freedom she will never have until the end of time. Tar-Kel is guarded by Cious's son, who stirs the waters of Zelbrane in anger at Cious and Lauseth for the freedom he will never have until the end of time.
