Delicate desert flower, purple. Hibernates in seed form until seasonal rains come and then blooms for a short time. The petals slowly revolve, undulate, and refold. This keeps the pollen inside rotated, fresh, and activated by the rubbing. It gains a dual advantage to insects by maintaining a strong scent and appearing to be an entirely different flower. Symbol for oasis, also for deception or constant change. Some try to see the future or signs inside the changing flower. Some claim to channel spirits through the flower, and their faces appear in the petals.
