Vegetable sometimes referred to as "coppas," this plant is very starchy and tastes like squash and white potatoes. It resembles a cross between a very large pear, and a sitting person, or kneeling cow or horse. They grow in very large patches and can range greatly in size and color. They are rounded and convoluted, but with smooth skin. They can be mottled with color, stripes, blends, or one color. They are almost uncontrollable. They have seedy centers, and patches resemble a field of kneeling people and is historically linked to battle of eclar-mutekkaden and therefore some cultures believe this and refuse to eat apris.
